By using the BackBy app or website, you agree to these terms. BackBy is a tool for organizing purchase records, possible return dates, reminders, return steps, and refunds.

Return dates and store policies

Return windows depend on the retailer, item, purchase channel, location, membership, and current policy. BackBy's retailer data has not yet been individually verified by the operator. A date marked “Likely” is an estimate, and a date you enter is your own. Always check the retailer's current policy and your receipt before relying on a date or making a return. BackBy cannot approve a return or guarantee a refund.

Reminders and your information

Keep your purchase details and return dates accurate. Reminders depend on your device settings and may be delayed or missed. Check important deadlines yourself. You are responsible for content you add and for following a retailer's return process.

Purchases

BackBy offers a free tier and optional Pro purchases through Apple's App Store. Prices and included features are shown in the app before purchase. An annual subscription renews unless you cancel it through your Apple account before renewal; a lifetime purchase is a one-time purchase. Apple manages billing, cancellation, and refunds for in-app purchases under its terms.

Availability and liability

We may improve, change, or discontinue features. The app and website are provided as available. To the extent allowed by applicable law, BackBy is not responsible for a missed deadline, rejected return, delayed refund, or loss caused by inaccurate policy information or unavailable reminders. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.
